Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mechanic/Tow Truck Driver with CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred! This energetic role is essential in providing prompt, professional roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services. You'll be the frontline hero, ensuring vehicles are safely transported and customers receive top-tier service. You will need to understand that all vehicles have to be maintained with a focus on keeping them roadworthy every day. Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and wrecker tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently Load and unload vehicles with precision, ensuring proper securing techniques to prevent damage during transit Conduct basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best recovery or repair approach Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly, managing conflicts professionally, and addressing customer needs with empathy Assist with automotive repair tasks when necessary, utilizing mechanical knowledge and mechanic experience to support repairs or inspections Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and incident reports for accountability and record-keeping Skills Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems, including manual transmissions and automotive repair fundamentals Experience driving commercial vehicles, especially tow trucks, with a valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not mandatory Proficiency in conflict management to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Mechanical aptitude combined with experience working on various vehicle types. Familiarity with flatbed towing is a plus, but we are willing to teach the right candidate.
