Essential Duties & Responsibilities Drive a semi-truck and trailer Inspect Trucks/Tractors/Trailers before and after every trip or as required by management or DOT Maintain accurate driver logs Maintain proper documentation per regulatory requirements for transport and disposals Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications Knowledge of semi-truck operating principles Knowledge of roll off cans, and how to pick them up/drop them off Ability to drive safely in varying working conditions Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to drivers is also required Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test Must be able to work 8-to-12-hour workdays, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends Must be at least 18 years of age US Citizen Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Ability to be punctual and dependable A strong commitment to safety and quality work Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees, external vendors and other business associates Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions Preferred N/A Supervisory Responsibilities This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.
