Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck operator at omega towing and become the essential link in delivering prompt, reliable roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services. In this energetic role, you'll operate specialized tow trucks to assist stranded motorists, transport vehicles safely, and ensure customer satisfaction. Your mechanical expertise and driving skills will drive your success as you navigate busy streets and challenging situations with confidence and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be on the front lines of roadside support, making a real difference every day. Duties Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles. Perform automotive diagnostics and basic repairs to assess vehicle condition before towing. Load, unload, and secure vehicles using appropriate equipment such as winches, hooks, and straps. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and ensuring their needs are met professionally. Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively, maintaining a positive attitude even under pressure. Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks and related equipment like forklifts to ensure safety compliance. Assist with automotive repair tasks or mechanical troubleshooting when necessary to facilitate vehicle recovery. Experience Proven experience operating tow trucks, flatbeds, or similar commercial vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics and repair procedures. Hands-on experience with manual transmissions and automotive repair tools. valid driver license Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) optional with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving preferred. Mechanical or mechanic experience is highly desirable, especially in automotive diagnostics or repair work. Skilled in conflict management with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally. Familiarity with load & unload procedures, automotive diagnostics, forklift operation, and automotive repair techniques is a plus.
