Weekend Truck Driver

Job Summary ShurGreen Farms, LLC., is looking to hire a weekend only driver. The driver would be responsible for the safe and timely pickup and delivery of goods. ShurGreen Farms, LLC. is an organic material recycling company. We combine deep industry expertise with expansive facilities and a wholly owned fleet of trucks, dry vans, tankers, semi-trailers, roll-off lidded containers, and refrigerated trailers. We serve customers in the food, beverage, liquid sludge, and packaging industries. What ShurGreen Farm Offers Competitive hourly rate Opportunity to grow your career Family-owned and operated Qualifications A valid driver's license A Class A CDL or commercial driver's license is required One (1) year of experience is not required but preferred High school or equivalent (preferred) English language skills to communicate clearly and effectively - Spanish is a plus Must be able to work and drive in all-weather conditions Responsiblities Performs any duties as directed by the supervisor Accurately perform a pre-trip inspection that includes tires, fuel, oil, etc. Physically fit to perform duties as assigned Report road incidents and mechanical issues to the dispatcher/operations Follow traffic laws Follow company accident and reporting procedures Have flexibility for start times, sending time, and scheduling Maintain a positive attitude with customers and coworkers Ability to pass DOT drug test Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends to meet business need Compensation Hourly rate of $39.00 Position Weekends only 8 hours each both Saturday and Sunday Solo Driving Benefits No benefits offered for this position
