Job Description

Anchor Auto Group is expanding our trucking division. We are looking for a CDL Class A driver experienced in car hauling. The primary territory will be within a 200-mile radius of the dealership, in a not-for-hire environment. We have 2 Peterbilts new generation 579, 12-speed fully automated transmission, with 2 trailers: Cottrell
CX-5308LT
NexGen and a Sun Country 53' NextGen, as well as 2 Flatbeds and a 2-car carrier. Responsibilities Comply with all DOT truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods, drug/alcohol testing) as well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Handle loading and unloading vehicles on/off of the carrier Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations Skills Proven work experience as a truck driver Conscientious, reliable and responsible Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) Valid truck driving license This is a great opportunity to have a solid, local reliable career with the benefits provided by Anchor Auto Group, we are an equal opportunity employer.
