Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Cargo Van Driver (non-CDL) to join our dynamic delivery team. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating a cargo van to deliver goods, materials, and equipment to various locations while providing exceptional customer service. Your role is vital in ensuring timely deliveries, proper handling of cargo, and maintaining compliance with all safety and traffic regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate a cargo van for deliveries, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws. Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition for operation. Load goods securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and protection during transit. Deliver products directly to customers' locations, providing excellent customer service and addressing any delivery-related inquiries professionally. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery receipts using mobile devices or other digital tools. Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management, material handling, and moving items within the facility. Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse operations or as a courier/delivery driver is preferred. Valid non-CDL driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving is a plus. Familiarity with automatic transmission vehicles and manual handling techniques. Ability to lift heavy loads safely while following manual lifting practices. Knowledge of route driving, traffic regulations, and DOT compliance standards. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Experience operating material handling equipment Like straps, etc. Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, delivery updates, and documentation.
