TRUCK DRIVER - PROJECT
in Great Falls, SC. This is a full-time position.
Truck Driver Tank Truck Driver Job Description Primary Function of Tank Truck Driver:
Drive and operate a light water truck vehicle, with a capacity of less than 26, 000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), primarily to keep gravel/clay road surfaces at optimum moisture content. May also perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. Assist craft workers and operate on a construction crew.

Typical Duties include but are not limited to: o Operate a water truck and other equipment in a safe, efficient, and appropriate manner. o Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment daily, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition. o Proper machine start-up, operation, and shutdown knowledge o Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles. o Perform emergency repairs, such as changing tires or installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chains, or spark plugs. o Fill truck tank with water. o Spray water in designated areas. o Must be safety minded and adhere to all safety policies in addition to passing a test in reference to safe operation in a trench. o Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones. o Load or unload materials used in construction or extraction. o Lubricate, clean, or repair machinery, equipment, or tools. o Provide assistance to craft workers. o Dismantle equipment or temporary structures. o Mix, pour, or spread concrete and other materials. o Maintain hand and power tools. o Dig holes or trenches. o Operate pumps or compressors. o Clean or prepare construction sites for work activities and to eliminate possible hazards. o Gather and distribute supplies and tools on the jobsite.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
o Respond quickly to foremans directions. o Must observe safety procedures and report any potentially unsafe conditions to management. o Knowledge of water truck and other road construction equipment. o Knowledge of road construction materials and road construction processes. o Must follow policies and procedures and support UIGs Mission. o Experience in construction preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
ALL Applicants must be: o 18 years of Age o Class B CDL License with an air and tanker endorsement. o Able to pass a Drug Test o Legally Eligible to Work in the US o Additional Requirements for
Truck Operators/Craft Workers:
Must haveown transportation to and from jobsite every work day (driver's license not required).Must provide own hand tools (excluding power tools), if applicable.

May be expected to travel where the project requires (multi-state opportunities).Must be able to physically and repetitively lift and carry at least 50 pounds on a routine basis.
