Capitol Coffee Systems is a family-owned business, which has been servicing the Raleigh/Durham area for over forty years. Our mission is to provide quality products to our customers while maintaining superior customer service. Job description The Micro Market and Vending Delivery Driver is responsible to deliver products to designated customers over an established delivery route, Sunday through Thursday between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. We are flexible on start time but require 8 hour days. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Drives truck and delivers such items as chips, soft drinks, bottled water, fresh foods, snacks, candy etc. to businesses. Driver is responsible for managing inventory of markets and vending machines. Put away and rotate all stock. Each market and vending machine should be fully faced before leaving. Driver must keep and maintain a cleaning kit to perform daily cleaning as required. Clean and maintain equipment. Troubleshoot and make minor equipment repairs if necessary. Remove spoiled fresh items at the end of each week or when expiration day will occur before the next scheduled visit. Inform customers of new products or services. Post any marketing materials correctly and professionally in markets. Listens to and resolves service complaints, reporting all back to the manager. Load truck the day before delivery. To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills. Displays ability and willingness to make decisions. Ability to work independently and in a team environment Professional appearance and demeanor. Observe safety and security procedures. Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
