Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Class "A" CDL Truck Driver with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements to join our team to work local in the Lugoff, SC area. Our professional drivers will be responsible for planning and executing transportation of HAZMAT materials to our clients in a safe and timely manner. Our drivers contribute to the goal of exceptional service in meeting our client delivery schedule and representing the company in a positive manner. The successful candidate should have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement (must have endorsement for at least 2 years), a clean driving record, and a keen understanding of road safety regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Safely drive a commercial motor vehicle (tractor and trailer).
• Ability to perform and document pre and post trip inspections.
• Ability to maintain all DOT required licenses and documentation.
• Ability to complete all necessary paperwork.
• Complete deliveries on schedule and interface with customers effectively.
• Verify order to ensure correct products loaded.
• Meet all company standards and DOT requirements for vehicles and Drivers.
• Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other Associates to do the same.
• Works cooperatively and productively with Supervisors and other Associates to complete tasks.
• Provides and inspires outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Possess good customer service skills.
• Must have working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations and can adhere to these rules.

Supervisor or Management Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics:

Must be 23 years of age or older. Must have Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements (must have endorsement for at least 2 years). Must pass a road test. Must have an acceptable driving record per policy. Must achieve acceptable responses to Previous Employment Verifications Must pass the drug, background check, and pre-employment tests. Must have at least 2 years of experience driving a tractor trailer in the past 3 years. Current Class A CDL and have a current DOT medical card or be able to pass a DOT physical.
