As a Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation for both non-ambulatory and ambulatory patients to hospitals, dialysis centers, and other medical appointments, ensuring comfort and care in a non-emergency setting.Key Responsibilities:

Report drop-offs, delays, incidents, and receive new orders efficiently from the Dispatch team.Embrace Variety:

Valid Driver's License with no at-fault accidents in the last 3 years (Required). CPR & First Aid Certification (Will be provided on-site by Metro One Certified Trainer). 1 Year of Driver Experience (Preferred). Zero At-Fault Incidents in the last 3 years.Skills & Qualifications:
Customer Service Experience:
Must have a strong customer-facing background and a proven record of providing excellent assistance to clients.Driving Experience:
At least 1 year of van driving experience preferred. Clean driving record with no more than 4 points in the last 3 years and a valid South Carolina driver's license.Great Attitude:
Empathy, compassion, and a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.Confidentiality:
Must adhere to HIPAA regulations and all federal, state, and agency guidelines.Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Licenses/Certifications:
Valid Driver's License First Aid & CPR Certification Lifting & Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 50 pounds (equipment only) Ability to operate wheelchair lifts and ramps (training provided) Ability to secure wheelchairs and mobility equipment in wheelchair-equipped vehicles, in accordance with company policy Ability to sit, stand, bend, and repeatedly enter and exit vehicles throughout the shift Drivers are not required or permitted to lift or transfer passengers. Passenger transfers requiring lifting must be performed by a caregiver or appropriate medical personnel An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
