Responsibilities Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other freight vehicles Load and unload cargo efficiently and safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary Drive route-specific deliveries with precision, adhering to schedules and safety regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation laws Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe operation at all times Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the truck types operated (e.g., refrigerated trailer, tanker) Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with freight handling Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles and specialized trucks such as flatbeds or dump trucks Ability to load & unload freight safely using equipment like forklifts or roll-off mechanisms Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety standards for commercial driving Strong understanding of transportation regulations and compliance requirements Physical ability to perform duties that may include lifting heavy loads and prolonged periods of driving Embark on a rewarding journey with us where your driving expertise fuels our success!
