IMPORTANT

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious delivery driver to transport fresh agricultural products to customers throughout the local area and neighboring states. This position averages approximately 30 or more hours per week . Routes require early-morning start times—as early as 2:00 a.m. on some days . Applicants must be comfortable working a changing delivery schedule. Box Truck Driving Experience Applicants must be capable of safely operating a non-CDL Class 6 box truck . These vehicles are similar to large U-Haul trucks but may be taller and up to 26 feet long.

Drivers must be comfortable:

Driving forward and backing safely Maneuvering in tight areas Backing into loading docks Making deliveries to stores and distribution centers Driving locally and into neighboring states Responsibilities Safely operate a company-owned, non-CDL box truck. Load, secure, transport, and unload agricultural products. Inspect the vehicle and cargo before beginning each route. Follow assigned routes, delivery schedules, traffic laws, and safety regulations. Back into loading docks and store delivery areas safely. Maintain accurate delivery records and report shortages, damages, or other discrepancies. Provide courteous and professional service to customers. Keep the assigned vehicle clean and report maintenance or safety concerns. Assist with warehouse duties, inventory, loading, and equipment operation as needed.

Must possess a valid driver's license. Must have an acceptable motor vehicle record. Must provide a three-year driving record at the time of the interview . Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid DOT medical card . Must be able to repeatedly lift, carry, load, and unload items weighing up to 50 pounds . Must be dependable, punctual, and comfortable working early-morning hours. Must have good communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills. Must be able to operate a box truck safely in different traffic, weather, loading-dock, and delivery conditions.
