. Responsibilities Safely operate a range of commercial trucks including manual transmission tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports throughout each shift. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments as needed. Provide excellent customer service by handling deliveries professionally and addressing any delivery-related questions or concerns. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL Class A license. Strong understanding of load securement techniques for different freight types. Knowledge of route planning for local delivery routes ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance with all federal and state regulations.
