Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our dynamic roadside assistance team. Duties Operate tow trucks equipped with flatbed or wheel-lift systems to recover and transport vehicles securely. Conduct automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle condition and determine appropriate recovery methods. Load, unload, and secure vehicles following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, dispatchers, and emergency responders. Perform basic automotive repair and mechanical troubleshooting to address common issues on-site or en route. Maintain detailed logs of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and vehicle conditions for record-keeping purposes. Follow safety procedures rigorously to ensure safe operations during all towing activities, including conflict management when necessary. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and experience operating tow trucks or similar commercial vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics, repair, and working with vehicle mechanics for truck drivers. Proficiency in operating flatbed tow trucks and familiarity with cargo securement protocols. Hands-on experience with manual transmissions and automotive repair tools. Excellent driving skills combined with knowledge of vehicle mechanics for truck drivers to troubleshoot issues effectively. Ability to handle conflict management professionally when dealing with distressed customers or challenging situations.
