Please consider joining our growing team today! Responsible for efficient and safe operation of tractor-trailer to safely deliver asphalt cement and burner fuel to customers.
Job Duties:
Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained. Accurately complete daily vehicle inspection forms Perform daily housekeeping on truck Safely operate and maintain truck Properly load, secure & unload material Accurately complete load tickets where applicable Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others. Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.). Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors. Ensure OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Safety FIRST mentality. Service focused. Must have valid Class A Commercial Driver License and ability to obtain tanker endorsement. Must Pass Jebro / DOT MVR guidelines.
Additional Information:
Full-time position. Flexible schedule. Able to work over 40 hours per week average. Able to work independently. Comfortable working in an outdoors environment for short periods of time. Light mechanical skills preferred. All equipment along with work clothing provided.
