Class A CDL Driver Regional Route Howard Logistics , a sister company of Acme Distribution , located in Aurora, CO , is hiring an experienced Class A CDL Driver to deliver product to a national retailer at locations throughout North Dakota and South Dakota .

Pay:

$28.50$31.50 per hour (based on experience)

MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF CLASS A CDL DRIVING EXPERIENCE

We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused driver who can work independently and is comfortable driving in all weather conditions, including wind, rain, snow, and ice . Job Responsibilities Pick up and deliver trailers to various shippers and consignees Deliver and pick up general freight from pickup yards and retail locations Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle Drive safely through all weather and road conditions Unload trailers and assist with freight as needed Complete deliveries in a timely and professional manner Maintain accurate driver logs and shipping documentation Complete and understand freight bills, BOLs, manifests, and Over-Short-Damage (OSD) reports Follow all federal, state, and DOT Motor Carrier Safety regulations Follow company safety policies while driving, loading, unloading, and working in warehouse/dock areas Maintain a clean and safe driving record Communicate effectively with dispatch Perform pre- and post-trip equipment inspections Maintain a clean and organized truck and equipment Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Route Schedule Monday 2:00 PM Depart Rapid City, SD and drive to Minot, ND Tuesday 8:00 AM Deliver in Minot 12:00 PM Deliver in Bismarck Return to Rapid City Wednesday 2:00 PM Depart Rapid City and drive to Minot Thursday 8:00 AM Deliver in Minot 12:00 PM Deliver in Bismarck Return to Rapid City Friday Meet Denver driver at the store around 10:00 AM 5:00 PM Deliver in Bismarck Drive to Minot Saturday 8:00 AM Deliver in Minot Return to Rapid City Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License Clean driving record Strong knowledge of federal and state DOT regulations Ability to work independently and manage routes effectively Ability to safely operate equipment in all weather conditions Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
