Job Description

Stan's is a family-owned, diverse organization with opportunities spanning multiple business units. Stan's primary purpose is that of a national logistics provider offering many services including trucking of refrigerated goods, dry goods, grains, and feed ingredients and the manufacturing and sales of feed. Stan's Mill is a state-of-the-art facility that includes an automated computerized batching system that services a continually growing demand for grind and mix feeds. The Feed Truck Driver is responsible for loading, delivery, and unloading of product.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Load and deliver product in a safe, timely and efficient manner Deliveries occur in all weather conditions Locations are primarily within 150 miles of Alpena Dependent upon schedule, may have several deliveryies in a day, resulting in up to 450-600 miles/day Follow all guidelines and regulations for transportation and delivery of product Primary production is related to swine industry which requires close adherence to bio-security requirements. And any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age Must have verifiable driving experience Must have Class A CDL and DOT med card Must pass all Driver Qualifications pre-screening (MVR, PSP, Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse, Pre-employment Drug Test and Background Check) Ability to lift 50 pounds, standing, walking and bending. Ability to know your location and assess situations in relation to the environment. Must be self-directed, and able to work with little or no supervision. Attendance and reliability are a must. Home nightly with optional weekend trips.
Compensation:
$25 - $30 per hour DOEEQ. Excellent benefit package including incentives, health & life insurance, flex spending account, retirement with up to 5% match, vacation and paid holidays.
