Job Description

CDL Driver/Boom Crane Operator We are looking for qualified and responsible CDL Drivers with Boom Crane Operator experience to transport and unload equipment and products to construction sites. We require that you have a valid CDL Class A/B driver's license. If you are a licensed CDL Driver with Boom Crane Experience who is looking for a rewarding, local opportunity with an established company, we want to hear from you!
Job Summary:
Transport construction products to job site in a safe and timely manner Receive delivery ticket for products, directions to job site and any special instructions and follow them to the detail Perform pre-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and report immediately any concerns or problems Develop precise knowledge of inventory, sizes, types, colors and pallet packaging Monitor and immediately report problems with assigned product quality, customer satisfaction and traffic Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed.
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Valid CDL, Class A/B required Crane and boom truck experience is preferred NCCCO or NCCER Certification a plus Able to identify all hand signals, weight limits, safety regulations, and operating codes that are relevant for crane operation Detailed oriented and good communication skills a plus Must have a clean driving record Able to work overtime when needed
Physical Requirements:
Stand or walk for long periods of time Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects Stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl See well (naturally or with correction) Eye-hand coordination Good physical fitness Good sense of balance We are continuously seeking talented people to add to our team, offering a high-energy, team-based environment that focuses on employee growth and development. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, twist, walk, must be able to use various hand tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance on elevated surfaces; and stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Constant and continual medium to heavy manual, physical labor is required for this position.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
