Key Duties and Responsibilities Drive and operate safely on and off the project sites Pre and Post Trip inspection of the truck and trailer in compliance with DOT regulations Fuel and grease truck daily Perform tasks involving hauling dirt on project jobsite or between project jobsites Other duties as assigned Qualifications Class A CDL License Air Brakes cert Current Medical Card 2+ year's construction experience of hauling dirt Knowledgeable of DOT regulations Willingness to learn and accept direction from supervisors Communication and interpersonal skills are a must Ability to manage time, multitask, and prioritize Working Conditions Travel - The position is located in Clyde, NC area or the Charlotte, NC area, with the potential of other locations throughout the Eastern Region. Construction Site Environment - physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb. Lifting and carrying material and objects. Ames Construction is an equal opportunity employer.
