Job Description
Subsidiary OmniSource Overview Drive a truck throughout the yard to move material. Responsibilities Move various loads of material to designated areas throughout the yard as instructed by management. Safely operate roll off and tractor trailer equipment to transport material in most effective, timely manner as possible. Perform daily pre-operational checks on tractor, ability to top off any needed fluids. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous operation of roll off and/or tracker trailer a plus, but not required. CDL required as equipment will leave the property. Ability to safely maneuver equipment throughout the yard, i.e. awareness of customers and employee traffic. Ability to work 1st shift hours w/OT and work on Saturdays. Able to work in all weather conditions Self-motivated, team player dedicated to the organization. Ability to communicate effectively, including speaking clearly over a two-way radio.
