Job Overview Join our team as a CDL Driver, where you'll enjoy the comfort of being home nightly. This role is perfect for experienced drivers who thrive on independence, safety, and efficiency. You'll operate a 379 Peterbilt truck pulling a end dump trailer, ensuring timely and secure deliveries in
TN/AL/GA.
Your expertise in manual transmissions and commercial driving will be vital to our success. Competitive pay based on experience! Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each trip, including route details and delivery confirmations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards Manage route driving schedules effectively to meet delivery deadlines while prioritizing safety Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries Experience / Requirements Proven truck driving experience with a valid CDL license. Have clean driving record. Drug screening required. Hands-on experience with freight handling, load & unload procedures, and route driving in various truck types such as flatbeds or dump trucks Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailer operations Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving, including DOT regulations and vehicle inspections Prior delivery driver experience in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable Join us today to be part of a team that keeps goods moving efficiently while enjoying the benefits of being home nightly.
