Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Class A CDL Driver and take the wheel in delivering essential freight for local routes! This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and end dump trailers, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Duties Safely operate Class A commercial trucks locally, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load, secure, transport, and unload freight including flatbed, end dump or tanker loads Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and cargo to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and records in compliance with logistics cargo handling standards Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record Proven 2 years experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving roles Familiarity with flatbeds, tankers, dump trailers preferred Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and navigation accuracy Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks required for load & unload operations Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and customer service Join us in delivering excellence on every mile!
