Job Description

Bryant Grain Co. is seeking full time yard driver with a class A CDL license. The candidate is responsible for operating multiple types of truck/trailers within the facility including but not limited to Ottowa spotter, semi tractor, dry vans, hoppers, bulk feed trailers, etc. The candidate will be required to assist loading/unloading of bulk product when necessary at our manufacturing facility. The candidate will also be required at times to pickup bulk product from other local facilities, pickup/deliver equipment to local vendors for maintenance, service etc. Typical hours for this position are M-F 5:30AM•4PM with occasional Saturdays as needed. Competitive pay and benefits. The candidate must be familiar with the operation of a wet kit and hydraulic equipment. Experience with Ledwell Paddle Wagon equipment is a plus. Bilingual•English/Spanish is a plus but not required

Dry Vans Home Time policy: Daily Trucking route: Local Working Conditions and Physical Requirements•Work inside an enclosed vehicle while driving and outdoors while loading and unloading. Regularly exposed to all weather conditions with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and materials used in a grain elevator/feed mill operation. Often work while listening to loud or distracting sounds and noise levels. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to continuously lift up to 10 lbs. and frequently up to 50 lbs. In a normal work day, the employee may be required to sit 40% of the time, stand 50% of the time and walk 10% of the time. Employee must be able to continually be able to reach above shoulder level, occasionally climb/balance, push & pull, lift from low to high position as well as frequently bend, squat, & kneel.
