Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Local Container Driver to transport shipping containers to and from port facilities in the Baytown area. This is a local Monday-Friday position with consistent daytime hours. We are looking for a driver NOT an O/O. Please note pay is 50/50 between owner of truck and driver. $1,500-2k range is

• Valid Class A CDL Valid TWIC Card Current DOT Medical Card Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience Manual/standard transmission experience required Must be comfortable operating a manual transmission truck Clean and safe driving record Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to safely secure and transport containers Must follow all DOT, port, and company safety requirements Schedule Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-5:00 PM No automatic trucks — manual/standard transmission experience is required. Responsibilities Pick up and deliver containers to and from port facilities Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Safely operate and maintain the assigned truck Follow all port procedures and safety regulations Complete required paperwork and delivery documentation Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and port personnel Maintain compliance with DOT regulations If you meet all requirements please Message here.

Pay:

$1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per week Application Question(s): Any tickets in the last 2 years? Up to date with medical card? Do you have Port work experience.? Do you have container experience? The yard/ job is in Baytown. Are you willing to drive to Baytown every Monday- Friday? Are you able to work full time? Will you need to provide a 2 week notice? Will you pass a drug test?
