Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Class A CDL End Dump Driver, specializing in local hauling with home daily routes. This energetic role offers the opportunity to operate tractor-trailers and dump trucks, delivering bulk materials efficiently and safely across designated local routes. You will be responsible for transporting freight using manual transmissions and specialized trailers such as flatbeds, tankers, or refrigerated units, ensuring compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A commercial trucks, including end dump trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated units, adhering to all DOT and FMCSA regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with hazardous materials regulations when applicable. Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of hazardous or dangerous goods when necessary. Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries within local routes and OTR driving routes when required. Deliver freight accurately to designated locations while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Manage logistics cargo handling by securing loads properly and performing routine maintenance checks on trucks and trailers. Document delivery activities meticulously, including delivery logs, incident reports, and compliance paperwork related to hazardous materials or special cargo. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving with manual transmissions. Knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and hazardous materials regulations. Experience with route driving using GPS navigation systems for efficient local hauling and OTR routes when needed.
