Responsibilities Safely operate Class A commercial trucks, including end dump trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated units, adhering to all DOT and FMCSA regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with hazardous materials regulations when applicable. Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of hazardous or dangerous goods when necessary. Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries within local routes and OTR driving routes when required. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving with manual transmissions. Knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and hazardous materials regulations. Experience with route driving using GPS navigation systems for efficient local hauling and OTR routes when needed.
