Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver and become a vital part of our roadside assistance and vehicle recovery operations! Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently. Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as winches, ensuring secure handling. Conduct basic automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle condition prior to towing or repair. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, dispatchers, and emergency responders. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including details of vehicle condition, location, and destination. Assist with automotive repairs or mechanical troubleshooting when necessary, leveraging your mechanical knowledge. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws while driving and performing recovery operations to ensure safety for yourself and others. Skills Strong driving skills with experience operating tow trucks, flatbeds, and commercial vehicles. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic automotive diagnostics and repairs. Proficiency in manual transmission operation and automotive repair techniques. Experience with automotive diagnostics, mechanical troubleshooting, and automotive repair processes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict professionally when needed. Familiarity with load & unload procedures using or other lifting equipment.
