Commercial Drivers License Driver

Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. Duties Safely operate a range of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers with manual transmissions. Load and unload materials using mechanical knowledge and appropriate equipment, ensuring secure handling of all cargo. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Drive in accordance with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes. Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, utilizing proper techniques to prevent injury or damage. Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle maintenance records, and compliance documentation throughout each shift. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license; experience with delivery routes preferred. Mechanical knowledge of heavy trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers. Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently under various conditions. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely while handling cargo or equipment. Familiarity with load & unload procedures for different truck types including roll-off containers and flatbeds. Strong driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence. Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy vehicle operation and cargo handling.
