Junk Removal Truck Driver

Part-Time Driver / LaborerOverview Alliance Rubbish Removal is seeking a dependable and professional Part-Time Driver / Laborer to assist with junk removal and hauling services throughout the DFW area. We service both residential and commercial customers, including routine pickups, hauling services, and exterior trash removal for local businesses and commercial properties. Because we work with a wide range of customers and job sites, professionalism, communication, reliability, and customer service are extremely important in this role. This position has the potential to transition into full-time work for individuals who demonstrate strong work ethic, professionalism, and reliability. About the Position This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. One day may involve a residential cleanout, while another may involve servicing a commercial property or completing routine hauling work for a business client. You and your partner will operate as a crew responsible for completing jobs safely, efficiently, and professionally throughout the DFW metroplex. What Makes This Job Great? Variety in day-to-day work and job sites Independence and autonomy while working out in the field A mix of physical work and problem-solving Opportunities to learn DFW neighborhoods, routes, recycling centers, donation sites, and transfer stations Customer interaction and the satisfaction of helping people and businesses Potential for customer tips We are looking for someone who: Takes pride in their work Communicates professionally with customers and coworkers Maintains a positive attitude Works safely and efficiently Represents the company professionally on residential and commercial job sites Job Duties & Responsibilities Safely operate commercial box trucks and commercial dump body trucks throughout the DFW area Load and remove junk, debris, furniture, appliances, and other materials Perform heavy lifting for extended periods of time alongside a teammate Communicate professionally with customers and site personnel Complete residential and commercial hauling jobs efficiently and safely Transport materials to donation centers, recycling facilities, and transfer stations Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance on job sites Work efficiently while following safety procedures Assist with light handyman-type tasks and miscellaneous labor work as needed Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required) Must be insurable under company policy Reliable transportation to the 75220 area Driving duties are required for this position Preference given to candidates with experience driving commercial box trucks or commercial dump body trucks similar to U-Haul-style vehicles Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly throughout the day Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Previous moving, junk removal, delivery, or general labor experience preferred Experience with light handyman work is a plus Forklift or skid steer operating experience is a plus Pay & Benefits $18-$22/hour base pay Tips not included in base pay Paid training Flexible scheduling Opportunity for advancement into a full-time position Expected Hours 25+ hours per week Minimum expectation of 3 working days per week Schedule Day shift Monday-Saturday What to Expect Some jobs may involve loading a single item, while others may involve full property cleanouts or recurring commercial hauling work. This role can be physically demanding. You should be comfortable lifting and carrying heavy items such as appliances, furniture, and bulky materials, sometimes involving stairs or long carry distances. The ideal candidate is hardworking, adaptable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of different tasks and job sites.
