Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliableFULL-TIME
Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various destinations. This position requires experience with manual transmission, as well as the ability to operate refrigerated trailers and electronic logging device (ELD). We primarily run with a direct contact, thus, we have loads lined up every day. We move with the watermelon seasons in Texas.Duties:
- Safely operate trucks and other equipment to transport goods and materials
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols
- MUST make all scheduled appointments.
EXCEPTIONS.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of [2] years of experience as a truck driver
- Experience operating manual transmission vehicles
- Knowledge of different types of trucks and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
