Preferred Candidate:

1+ years CDL Driving Experience Prior experience with driving concrete mixer truck (but willing to train if necessary)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be dependable; requires regular/predictable attendance and punctuality Observe all state and federal safety, traffic, and criminal laws Treat customer, and customer's site with upmost respect and courtesy Maintain professionalism and a positive demeanor while in the presence of customers Adhere to the safety practices as outlined in the company's safety program Coordinate delivery schedules and site locations with dispatcher Maintain communications with, and take direction from dispatcher Effectively maneuver truck under loading hopper Perform pre and post-trip inspections Estimate slump of concrete Maintain the appearance of the vehicle (cab, hopper, and out body) Wash excess concrete from chutes, collection hopper, truck body, etc. Wear proper protective equipment while on the job Perform additional job duties as assigned Physical Requirements and Demands Requires sitting, stooping, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, and climbing Must be capable of passing a DOT physical Involves walking on uneven ground Exposure to loud noises and extreme outdoor conditions (such as heat or cold) Requires lifting and attaching chute extensions weighing from 35 to 50 pounds Must be capable of pushing, turning, and pulling to operate controls Come join our team!
