ElectriCom is seeking a safety-focused CDL Driver to support utility construction projects in power, telecommunications, and broadband. In this field-based role, you will transport crews, equipment, and materials to overhead and underground job sites while following DOT and company safety standards. Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, safe operation in work zones, documentation, and assisting with loading/unloading. Responsibilities Operate CDL vehicle to transport materials, equipment, and crews to construction sites Support power, telecom, and broadband utility construction projects Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks Follow all DOT, company, and site-specific safety rules and procedures Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and required documentation Assist crews with loading/unloading and staging materials when needed Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and field crews Report equipment issues, hazards, and incidents promptly Adhere to project schedules and routes while meeting quality standards Represent Electri Com professionally with customers and the public Required Skills Commercial driving (CDL Class A or B) Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance DOT regulations and hours-of-service compliance Load securement and material handling Reading and following route/schedule instructions Defensive driving and safe operation in work zones Use of electronic logs or logbooks Radio/phone communication with dispatch and crews Basic understanding of construction/utility job sites Recordkeeping and documentation accuracy
