Responsibilities:
  • Operate vehicles and equipment for various transportation tasks, ensuring safe and efficient movement of goods, materials, or passengers.
  • Assist with loading and unloading cargo, verifying contents, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment, reporting any issues or safety concerns.
  • Follow established routes, schedules, and instructions as provided by supervisors or dispatchers.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, traffic laws, company policies, and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and management to coordinate logistics and resolve issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicles, tools, and workspaces.
  • Provide support in varied transportation activities, adapting to changing assignments and operational needs.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, delays, or unexpected situations.
  • Complete required documentation and reports related to transportation activities.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, or related field is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
