In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various customer locations using a box truck, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Your enthusiasm for customer service, combined with your driving expertise, will help us deliver exceptional experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be on the move, engage with diverse clients, and contribute to our company's reputation for reliable delivery services. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks, or vans to deliver products to customers across designated routes Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and liftgates. Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and company safety policies during all driving activities Ensure accurate delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures upon receipt of goods Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior Communicate effectively with dispatch using mobile devices to confirm routes, delivery times, and address any issues promptly Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions professionally and ensuring a positive delivery experience Qualifications Prior experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or van driving is a plus Ability to operate pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment safely Knowledge of route planning, traffic regulations, and safe lifting practices for heavy loads Comfortable performing heavy lifting and manual handling tasks in compliance with safety standards Familiarity with warehouse operations, material handling equipment operation, and moving procedures is advantageous Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about driving, enjoy delivering excellent service, and want to be part of a team that values safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction!
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
