ASAP Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable CDL Driver to operate a road sweeper for an ongoing project. The primary responsibility of this position will be continuously driving and sweeping designated roadways throughout the shift to keep the work area clean and free of dirt, dust, and debris. This is a repetitive driving position and requires someone who is comfortable operating the sweeper along the same designated routes throughout the workday. Essential Duties /
Responsibilities:
Operate a commercial road sweeper safely and efficiently Continuously sweep designated roadways and work areas throughout the shift Drive assigned routes repeatedly to maintain clean road conditions Monitor the roadway for dirt, debris, and other materials requiring removal Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle Monitor sweeper equipment and report any mechanical or maintenance concerns Follow all site traffic patterns, speed limits, and safety procedures Maintain awareness of workers, equipment, and other vehicles while operating Complete approximately 40 hours per week with flexibility for additional hours as needed
Requirements:
Valid CDL Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Previous commercial driving or heavy equipment experience preferred Experience operating a road sweeper is a plus but not required Must be comfortable performing repetitive driving and sweeping duties throughout the shift Dependable transportation and reliable attendance Ability to work safely and independently Must be able to meet all site-specific onboarding and safety requirements
