RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate commercial trucks safely and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues. Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper securing of loads. Transport goods to assigned destinations within scheduled timeframes. Maintain electronic or paper logs of working hours, driving hours, and rest periods (DOT compliance). Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, incidents, or route changes. Ensure accurate completion of delivery documentation (bills of lading, delivery receipts, etc.). Follow planned routes while adjusting for traffic or weather conditions. Provide excellent customer service at delivery sites. Keep equipment clean and report any necessary repairs.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 21 years of age Prior rail experience preferred but not required Class A CDL 6 months of verifiable experience in the last year Clean driving record with proven safe-driving history No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years Contact Prima for more information:
