Job Overview We are seeking experienced Dump Truck Owner Operators and Small Fleets to join a dynamic, long-term contractual partnership spanning five years in Texas. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate specialized dump trucks and contribute to large-scale construction, mining, or infrastructure projects. As a key player in our logistics network, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials across diverse routes while adhering to all federal and state regulations. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks and tractor-trailers with precision, ensuring timely delivery of construction aggregates, soil, or other bulk materials across designated routes. Safely load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, ensuring secure transport of hazardous or non-hazardous materials such as dirt, gravel, or debris. Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to optimize routes and meet delivery schedules while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and route information in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure compliance with safety standards and report any mechanical issues promptly. Adhere strictly to safety protocols related to hazardous materials regulations when transporting dangerous goods or hazardous substances. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route changes, delivery status, or unforeseen delays. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for tractor-trailer operation, including Hazmat if applicable. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, particularly with dump trucks, flatbeds, tankers, or similar heavy-duty vehicles. Demonstrated knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, and hazardous materials regulations. Experience with GPS navigation systems and route planning for over-the-road (OTR) driving routes. Ability to manually handle cargo loading and unloading safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures for freight including bulk materials like gravel, dirt, or debris. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance; previous delivery driver experience is highly valued. Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks required for loading/unloading operations.
