ABOUT THE ROLE
The RMX Driver Lead will be responsible for coordinating the logistics of getting concrete from the plant discharge to the active pour site, managing the truck fleet and drivers.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Project based travel to active project sites to manage local or traveling driver fleets.
- Coordinates distinct haul logistics—managing dump/agitator trucks for wet batch central mixes or traditional ready-mix trucks for dry batch setups.
- Enforces haul-road safety routing, speed limits, and safe backing protocols.
- Ensures all drivers perform strict DOT pre/post-trip maintenance inspections.
- Enforces strict delivery windows.
- Ensures trucks transport and discharge the load before hydration limits are reached (e.g., the standard 90-minute or 300-revolution rule).
- Controls washouts to avoid cross-contamination.
- Optimizes truck cycle times and dispatch intervals to minimize truck standby time, reduce fleet fuel consumption, and eliminate over-trucking costs.
- Works hand-in-hand with the client's placement or paving foreman at the discharge point to resolve logistics friction on the haul routes quickly.
- Collects, audits, and archives all Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs), driver hours-of-service (HOS) logs, and matches delivery tickets against batch dispatch logs to track variances.

High School diploma/GED. Please note that equivalent years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Required Work Experience:
