Job Overview National Carriers, Inc. is hiring a full-time Driver Recruiter to join our team in Irving, Texas. We are looking for someone who is driven, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. This position is responsible for recruiting qualified CDL-A drivers and guiding them through the hiring process—from the initial conversation through orientation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage inbound driver leads and applications Make outbound calls to prospective CDL-A drivers Explain company pay, benefits, equipment, and available driving opportunities Review applications and determine whether candidates meet company qualifications Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with applicants Build strong relationships with prospective drivers Keep accurate applicant records and recruiting notes Coordinate with Safety, Operations, and other departments throughout the hiring process Meet individual and team hiring goals Represent National Carriers professionally during every interaction

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong communication and phone skills Ability to connect with people and build trust Organized and capable of managing multiple applicants at different stages Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working toward performance goals Able to handle rejection, overcome objections, and follow up consistently Recruiting, sales, customer service, call-center, or transportation experience preferred Knowledge of DOT regulations and CDL driver qualifications is a plus High school diploma or equivalent required
