Job Description

BOSK Hauling is hiring an experienced Class A CDL driver to operate XXX with an Travis Aluminum end-dump trailer on a dedicated route originating near Bonham, Texas to McKinney, Texas. This is primarily a driving position, but the ideal candidate also has hands-on diesel mechanic experience and can help identify, diagnose, and handle minor truck and trailer repairs. Primary Responsibilities Safely operate Class 8 trucks and end-dump trailers Haul sand, gravel, dirt, and aggregate materials Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate load tickets, logs, and delivery records Communicate equipment problems before they cause downtime Assist with minor roadside and shop repairs when qualified Help with preventative maintenance, including fluids, filters, lubrication, lights, hoses, and basic brake or air-system issues Keep the truck and trailer clean, safe, and ready for work Preferred Qualifications Valid Class A CDL At least 5 years of commercial driving experience Dump truck, end-dump, aggregate, or construction-hauling experience strongly preferred Diesel mechanic or heavy-equipment repair experience Familiarity with air brakes, hydraulic wet kits, PTO systems, electrical systems, suspensions, and trailer components Clean driving record and ability to pass required drug and background screenings Able to work independently and communicate clearly with ownership and dispatch What We're Looking For We want a dependable driver who treats the equipment like it is their own. The right person is safety-minded, mechanically capable, and able to recognize small problems before they become major repairs.
