Duties Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, including those with manual transmissions, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary Drive predetermined routes, adhering to schedules and optimizing delivery times for maximum efficiency Inspect vehicles regularly for maintenance needs, safety issues, or damages before and after trips Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and route reports to ensure accountability and smooth operations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Assist with securing refrigerated trailers or flatbed loads as required, ensuring cargo safety during transit Skills Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles with route driving responsibilities Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely Knowledge of different trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus Ability to load & unload freight efficiently while maintaining safety standards Skilled in operating forklifts or other loading equipment when necessary Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols Excellent navigation skills and the ability to plan optimal routes for timely deliveries This role is perfect for motivated drivers eager to demonstrate their expertise in freight transportation while providing exceptional service.
