Valid CDL Class A License; Tanker Endorsement or willingness to obtain The Opportunity BCAC Underground is hiring dependable, safety-conscious CDL / Hydro Vac Operators to support our Field Operations team. In this hands-on role, you will operate commercial vehicles, hydro-vac equipment, combo units, and equipment transport trailers in support of underground utility, water, and sewer projects throughout Texas. You will also be responsible for safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading materials and heavy machinery while supporting field crews with hydro-vac and underground utility operations. How You Will Make an Impact Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, combo units, hydro-vac trucks, and equipment transport trailers. Perform hydro-vac operations, including high-pressure water jetting and vacuum recovery, alongside field crews. Load, secure, transport, and unload materials and heavy machinery using proper tie-downs, chains, and straps. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT, OSHA, and company requirements. Assist field crews with jobsite logistics, material movement, and equipment positioning as needed. Complete accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and required documentation. Maintain clean, organized, and properly serviced vehicles and equipment. Promptly report mechanical, equipment, or safety concerns. Follow all company safety procedures while working around underground utilities, equipment, and active jobsites. Required Qualifications & Experience Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record. Tanker Endorsement is needed. If you do not currently have it, you must be willing to obtain it. Commercial driving and/or hydro-vac operating experience. Ability to safely load and secure materials and heavy equipment for transport. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., assist with manual field tasks, and work outdoors in varying conditions. Strong commitment to safe vehicle, equipment, and jobsite operations. Willingness to travel based on project needs. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Previous experience operating combo trucks, hydro-vac trucks, or vacuum units within the water, sewer, or underground utility industry. Air Brake Endorsement. Confined Space Entry and OSHA 10 Certifications are a plus. Candidates who do not currently have these certifications will be set up for training after hire. Familiarity with local and regional travel throughout Texas. Previous underground utility or construction field experience. Compensation Compensation is based on relevant experience: 0-3
