Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Class A or B Driver, Vacuum Truck Operator, and Rolloff Box Trailer Specialist to join our dynamic team. Safey transport material from customer sites to disposal sites and treatment facilities in compliance with DOT regulations. Safely assist customers and Shelton employees with onsite, plant projects. Knowledge of DOT and Haz-mat regulations and requirements. Daily inspections of equipment and tools needed for projects. Ensuring safety of employees, customers, equipment, and adhering to all Shelton Services safety policies, and procedures. Working with other groups within Shelton Services, to accomplish completing jobs in the safest manner. The safe operation of various types of equipment: 70 bbl vacuum trucks (standard vacuum Trucks, scrubber trucks, stainless steel trucks) 130 bbl vacuum trucks (carbon and stainless) Tankers Straight rail trucks (bobtail) Double and single rail trailers Flat bed and Step deck equipment trailers 53' dry vans Equipment tilt trailers 1 ton pick-up with gooseneck trailers Perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary. Complete fuel reports, maintenance request, field tickets, and other project related documentation.
Position Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid Class A or B CDL. Minimum 3 years verifiable CDL driving experience. Tanker, Haz-Mat endorsement, or ability to obtain. Ability to preform out of town projects as needed. Ability to workdays and/or nights as needed. Ability to speak, read and write English sufficiently. Maintain electronic drivers log and complete equipment inspections on company provided tablet. Must pass/maintain physical requirements include DOT medical card Valid drivers license with good driving record. Safely assist customers and Shelton employees with onsite, plant projects. Knowledge of DOT and Haz-mat regulations and requirements. Daily inspections of equipment and tools needed for projects. Ensuring safety of employees, customers, equipment, and adhering to all Shelton Services safety policies, and procedures. Working with other groups within Shelton Services, to accomplish completing jobs in the safest manner. The safe operation of various types of equipment:
Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
