Job Description
Provide transportation in agency vehicles for individuals with physical and mental disabilities. Transport to day programs, doctor's appointments and recreational activities. Must have good driving record and experience operating vans and buses. Manages transportation calendar. Supervises individuals during transportation to ensure their safety. Responsible for petty cash monies and transportation receipts, i.e., gasoline, tolls, parking, etc. Supervises individuals on appointments, (medical, dental, psychological, psychiatric, recreational and or other activities. Ensures medical paperwork is completed by physicians, lab techs or other medical personnel. Ensures that documentation for all appointments are obtained and presented to the nurse for review within the timeframe specified. Obtains motor vehicle maintenance as specified including oil changes, tire rotation and other maintenance issues as required.
