Night Time Trash Collector (Part-Time) Diamond Waste Services - 5.0 Rosenberg, TX Job Details Part-time | Contract $18 - $22 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Referral program Qualifications Outdoor work English Driver's License Driving Mobile devices Full Job Description Service Team Member The service team member is responsible for nightly door-to-door collection of trash and recycling items within assigned apartment complexes. As the face of the Diamond Waste Services, service team members must adhere to all company policies and quality standards of service, timeliness, privacy, safety, and monitoring/reporting. Earn up to $18/hr. with possibility to earn management role.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collect waste and recycling door to door within an assigned apartment community and transfer to the trash dumpster on site - Collection must begin at the designated time
- Work 5 nights a week, Sunday through Thursday, starting 7:00 pm.
- Inspect and maintain trash dumpsters, halls, stairs, and floors according to Diamond Waste Services standards.
- Clean and clear trash and debris from dumpster areas
- Document and report daily ( via our phone application ) all property hazards and resident non-compliances
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Special Conditions of Employment:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to speak and write in English
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
- Must have smartphone with a data plan and ability to download apps
- Must have valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Must maintain valid documentation - auto liability insurance, driver's license, etc.
- Ability to drive locally and possibly to other properties as needed
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
- Flexibility to work during collection hours. Must be available to start at 7 PM
- Ability to work outdoors and work/drive in changing weather conditions
- Ability to climb stairs, walk distances, and be exposed to trash odors
- Good communication skills
