Overview We are seeking energetic and dedicated CDL (Commercial Driver's License) drivers to join our team for local flatbed drivers as well as for our oilfield truck driving positions. we are needing to fill 4 positions for flatbed work regionally being home most night back in San Angelo with the occasional few nights possibly in the truck delivering freight from here to various locations in Texas, the oilfield side we are looking for winch truck operators as well as slick back drivers for moving frac equipment in the Permian basin areas, this requires to be remotely staying out in the field in the trucks which all have big sleepers with fridges and microwaves for lots of storage as we will need to be staged close to the work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a CDL driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of freight and equipment across local routes and oilfield sites. Your expertise will help maintain our reputation for reliability and safety while providing essential services to our clients. Responsibilities Safely operate flatbed trucks, tractor-trailers, and oilfield trucks following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and hazardous materials regulations. Load, secure, transport, and unload freight including logistics cargo, Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across local flatbed routes and over-the-road (OTR) driving routes in the oilfield industry. Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking load security, tire conditions, brakes, lights, and fluid levels. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, delivery records, and compliance with all safety protocols. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that arise during transit. Assist with truck loading and unloading when necessary; handle manual tasks related to logistics cargo handling while adhering to safety standards. Qualifications 2 year minimum with CDL must be over 23 years of age Valid CDL license with appropriate endorsements for flatbed hauling ; Hazmat certification is a plus. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving with flatbeds or tanker trucks in local or OTR routes. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient deliveries. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards related to truck driving. Ability to manually handle cargo safely during load & unload procedures; experience with truck loading/unloading is preferred. Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures for freight including dangerous goods or hazardous materials when applicable. $25.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
