In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers equipped for refrigerated, flatbed, or tanker loads, navigating complex routes and handling various types of cargo including hazardous materials. Your expertise in commercial truck driving and logistics cargo handling will be vital in delivering goods promptly and securely. This position offers an energetic work environment where your driving skills and dedication make a real impact every day. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes, adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Load, secure, transport, and unload freight efficiently, including refrigerated goods, hazardous materials, flatbed loads, and tankers Use GPS navigation systems to plan optimal routes and ensure timely deliveries across multiple states or regions Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to verify mechanical safety and compliance with safety standards Manage documentation such as delivery logs, shipment manifests, inspection reports, and compliance paperwork for hazardous materials regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries while providing real-time updates on route progress Handle manual loading and unloading tasks when necessary, ensuring cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit Qualifications Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery driving Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with endorsements relevant to hazardous materials (Hazmat), tanker, or refrigerated trailer operations Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for dangerous goods Experience operating manual transmission trucks and tractors with manual handling skills for cargo management Familiarity with logistics cargo handling including freight loading/unloading procedures for flatbed or tanker loads Excellent driving record demonstrating safe operation of tractor-trailers over long distances Ability to navigate using GPS systems confidently while managing route adjustments as needed Join us as a Company OTR Truck Driver if you're passionate about driving safely across vast distances while managing diverse cargo types.
