Job Description

Shop Hand - Peak Energy Solutions Position Summary Peak Energy Solutions is seeking a dependable and hardworking Shop Hand to assist with the daily operations of our office and warehouse. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment while supporting field crews, warehouse inventory, equipment maintenance, and general facility operations. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and willing to perform a variety of tasks to help keep company operations running smoothly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, warehouse, and yard. Receive, unload, inspect, and stock incoming materials and equipment. Pull, stage, and load materials for field crews and upcoming projects. Organize inventory and assist with inventory counts and tracking. Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other shop equipment safely (training provided as needed). Clean, fuel, and perform basic maintenance on company vehicles, trailers, and equipment. Assist with deliveries, pickups, and transportation of materials between vendors, job sites, and the shop. Keep tools, parts, and consumables properly organized and stocked. Dispose of scrap materials and maintain a safe, hazard-free work environment. Assist technicians and management with miscellaneous shop and warehouse tasks. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and organizational skills. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work outdoors for extended periods. Comfortable working in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely operate equipment and perform manual labor throughout the workday. Preferred Qualifications Previous warehouse, shop, construction, or oilfield experience. Forklift certification. Experience operating skid steers or similar equipment. Familiarity with inventory management and basic hand and power tools. Work Schedule Full-time position. Monday through Friday, with overtime and occasional weekends as required by business needs.
