The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting safety equipment and materials efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of vehicles, including flatbed trucks, tractor-trailers, and tankers. If you are a reliable driver with 3 years of experience in commercial driving and a passion for delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you. Driver must have PPE (hardhat, safety vest, steeltoe boots, tools, gloves). Responsibilities Operate various types of trucks including flatbed, tractor-trailer, and tanker vehicles, forklifts. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials, adhering to all safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with all transportation regulations. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules. Communicate effectively with Owner, Foreman and other team members regarding deliveries and any issues that arise. Manage paperwork related to shipments, lading and delivery loads. Operate forklifts as necessary for loading and unloading materials. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated. Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong understanding of safe driving practices. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Experience operating flatbed trailers is a plus. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading and unloading processes. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and paperwork. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. A commitment to maintaining safety standards on the road and at delivery sites.
