Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our trucking team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition. Duties Operate various types of trucks, including those that are tandems, belly and end dumps to deliver goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery times while adhering to traffic laws. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered on the road. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Experience Proven experience as a Truck Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is required. Must have 2 years experience or more Must have clean license Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
